2003 Twin Islands Pinot Noir

Semi translucent deep mauve colour with mauve hue. Delicate notes of strawberry and spice emerge, followed by a touch of smoky oak. The palate has good weight and length, with a touch of smoky oak, followed by earth, strawberry and spice. Moderate palate length, fine grained tannins creating a velvet texture. Aftertaste of spice and stewed fruit.
