2004 Curly Flat Chardonnay

Phillip Moraghan and his wife Jeni became obsessed with the wines of Burgundy whilst studying in Switzerland. The duo underwent an apprenticeship in Australia and overseas in order to gain enough expertise to realise their Burgundy dream. Brilliant pale gold colour with straw hue. Superb nose, showing great complexity with lifted notes of biscuit, yeast lees, cashew and hazelnut. The palate follows the nose, delivering a complex layered flavour profile with biscuit, yeast lees, hazelnut and spicy oak flavours emerging. Creamy texture. Very long spicy, biscuit, yeast lees and hazelnut aftertaste.
