You don't often hear 'Caol Ila' and 'sherry' in the same sentence. This one's from a refill Sherry butt. G&M's sister cask (x Bourbon) was described as "Stunning" in Jim Murray's 2021 Whisky Bible. At near 60%, expect something pretty special from Cask 306618 - an altogether more feisty Caol Ila, with added richness and perhaps a nod to its peppery cousin on Skye. 535 bottles at 58.9% Alc./Vol. Comes non chill filtered.

Notes from G&M... Rich vanilla and autumnal spice aromas accompany bonfire embers, dark forest fruit with grapefruit zest gives way to flavours of cured meat. A rich finish with juicy fruits and lingering smoke.
