2004 Jacob's Creek Reserve Chardonnay Pinot Noir

Short mousse, followed by a fine bead but lacking persistence. The base wine is a pale straw colour with a green tinge. The nose is quite delicate with a top note of yeast lees, followed by biscuit. Creamy texture. Flavours of biscuit, yeast lees and nougat on the palate, followed by some dusty background notes and a slightly herbaceous overtone. Crisp acid finish.
