2004 Masi Bonacosta Valpolicella Classico
This wine consists of a blend of Corvina, Rondella and Molinara grapes, and has been sealed with a polypropylene supreme cork. Semi translucent brick red colour with tawny hue. The nose displays a developed flavour profile with a top note of truffle, followed by cedar and spice, followed by an earthy, stewed fruit end note. Short palate flavours, with stewed fruit dominant, followed by cedar and truffle. Little length or depth. Simple structure, cedar and truffle aftertaste.

First tasted, December 2006: This wine has been made from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes. Semi translucent crimson colour with crimson hue. Top note of spice, followed by new leather and stewed fruit. The palate flavours are very drinkable, with morello cherry, spice and new leather marrying with soft tannins. Warm spicy back palate. Aftertaste of spice and morello cherries.
