2004 Penfolds Thomas Hyland Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Aroma of plum and spice followed by a hint of violet, showing good varietal character. Flavours of plum and stewed fruit on the palate, with a fine dry tannin structure. The wine is predictable in it’s flavour profile. Aftertaste of plum, stewed fruit and liquorice.
