Representing exceptional value it offers wine lovers superb everyday drinking.

This wine is a very good example of the exceptional quality of the 2004 vintage in South Australia. Bottled under the Zork capsule, the wine displays opaque black purple colour with vibrant black purple hue. The nose is classic McLaren Vale - with the lifted notes of violets, liquorice, blackberry, vanilla and black pepper. The palate has the expected Ben Riggs 'joosy' quality. Flavours of liquorice, blackberry and vanilla are evident. Fine grained tannins perfectly balanced with very long aftertaste of vanilla, black pepper and liquorice.
Cellar: 3-4 years (2008-2009)
Alc/Vol: 15.0%

Other Reviews...
The outstanding 2004 Shiraz Red Dot represent a good value. This big, juicy Australian fruit ball boasts medium to full body, loads of black currants intermixed with notions of pepper and tar, and a seriously endowed, richly fruity personality. This plump, exuberant, classically Australian Shiraz was bottled under the South Australian invention, the Zork closure (another twist on the screw cap idea). It should last for 3-4 years, possibly longer.
