2004 Pewsey Vale Museum Reserve The Contours Riesling

This wine is given 5 years bottle age before being released and the fruit is sourced from Pewsey Vale’s oldest vines, planted in contoured rows in 1962.

Deep straw yellow colour with straw hue – showing signs of development. The nose displays good intensity with aromas of toasted honey followed by citrus, spice and a whiff of kero as an end note. Mouthfilling texture with flavours of lemon, honey, toast and spice. Clean dry finish with acidity holding up well. Excellent length with a very long aftertaste of lemon, spice and toasted honey.
Drink now or cellar a further 2-3 years (2009-2012)
