2004 Tim Adams Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Lifted nose with violet top note followed by liquorice, ink, iodine, spice and black pepper. The palate flavours are generous, with a touch of leather followed by earth, spice, white pepper, liquorice and plum. Fine grained soft tannins. There is a hint of leather and earth on the aftertaste, with plum and black pepper also evident.
