2005 Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir

Deep crimson colour with deep crimson mauve hue. Excellent colour and depth. Aroma of cherry and spice followed by a hint of game and strawberry jam, showing good varietal character. The palate flavour profile appears stuck in a time warp and will need a few years to open up. Cherry strawberry and spice flavours are still evolving. Soft tannins. Very modest power wave. Long aftertaste of spice and strawberry.
