2005 De Martino Legado Carmenere

De Martino was voted by the International Wine and Spirit competition as Chile’s Winemaker of the year. Opaque black crimson colour with deep mauve purple hue. Violet top note followed by blackcurrant and spice. The palate delivers plenty of weight and length. Flavours of cherry, mulberry and blackcurrant followed by a violet infusion, spice and mulberry. Fine grained tannins. Excellent balance. Aftertaste of cherry and mulberry.
