2005 Schild Estate Wines Unwooded Semillon

The Schild Vineyards were established in 1952. Brilliant straw colour with water like hue showing a delicate green film. Aroma of citrus followed by a hint of tropical fruit and dry straw over a delicate grassy background. The palate has good weight, with flavours of honeycomb followed by grassy, spicy, citrus and tropical fruit flavours. Clean acid finish – there is a sense of broadness evident on the back palate. Aftertaste of citrus and tropical fruit.
