2006 Gibson Old Vine Collection Barossa Valley Shiraz

A rare and outstanding old vines Shiraz that has become both a collectors piece and an investment wine

Opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. Perfumed nose, with a top note of blackcurrant followed by spice and violets. The palate displays classic Barossa depth and voluptuousness married perfectly to a fine dryish tannin structure. Layers of liquorice, dark chocolate, spice and mocha fill the palate, over a toasted oak background. Outstanding length and depth. Exceptionally long aftertaste of mocha, liquorice, dark chocolate and spice.
