2006 Henschke Keyneton Estate Euphonium Dry Red

This wine displays the refinement and elegance that has become the hallmark of all Henschke wines.

A superb refined blend. Medium body. Bright crimson colour with crimson hue. Complex, layered nose reflective of the multi varietal blend. Top note of blackberry, followed by liquorice all sorts, spice, hints of violet with blackcurrant, raspberry end note. Complexity and layers of flavour drive the palate instead of muscle and pure body weight. Layers of blackcurrant, spice and liquorice are counter pointed with cedar and blackpepper. Fine grained tannins, excellent balance and persistence of flavour. Very long spicy aftertaste.
