A single cask bottled by Infrequent Flyers as part of release #75. Blair Athol stands at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands in the picturesque town of Pitlochry, Perthshire. It has become an irreplaceable contributor to Bell's, one of the most popular blended whiskies in the UK and Diageo considered it good enough to rank among the Classic Malts, alongside the likes of Lagavulin, Talisker, Caol Ila and Inchgower. The style is medium to full bodied, lightly honied, with a fruity-spicy edge that in this case, will be enriched by a finishing in a Virgin oak cask (think extra vanilla and more mouthfeel). This Infrequent Flyer's edition was distilled in 2006 and yielded 187 bottles at 52.7% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
