Other reviews....
An effortlessly luxuriant and pure wine, with juicy blackcurrant and cassis fruit supported by positive, but fine and ripe tannins; only Penfolds can use 100% American oak to such good effect. Great 707. Drink by 2036.

A deep, dark and brooding cabernet that simply needs plenty of time to unlock its brooding layers of rich, meaty fruit. Scented with a wild, heady and floral perfume, it’s steeped in dense aromas of cassis, violets, cedar and dark, high-cocoa chocolate. Framed by a drying cut of firm, fine-grained and kernelly tannin, it’s long, sumptuous and profoundly ripened, finishing with persistent and slightly meaty flavours of dark plums and prunes. I have no doubt the wine has the balance to flower, eventually! (South Australia, 19.1/ 96 points, drink 2036-2046+) - Jeremy Oliver
