2006 Retief Organic Shiraz

This is an excellent example of wine grown on biodynamic principles. It has been Australian certified Biodynamic with less than 80 ppm sulphur and designated vegan.

Opaque black purple colour with black purple hue – youthful. Perfumed nose of plum, liquorice, vanilla and blackberry. The palate is quite generous, with excellent flavour profile – flavours of plum and stewed fruit with hints of black pepper and vanilla. Fine grained tannins. Long aftertaste of plum, stewed fruit and liquorice.
