2006 The Colonial Estate Explorateur Old Vine Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson hue. Top note of plum followed by spice, stewed fruit and a hint of leather. The fruit on the palate is beginning to dry out. Cedar, old leather and stewed fruit – the wine is prematurely aged. Dry tannins. Aftertaste of cedar, old leather and stewed fruit.
