2006 Wirra Wirra Woodhenge Shiraz

Very deep almost opaque black crimson colour with black crimson hue. The nose is impressive – top note of vanilla, followed by blackberry, black pepper and spice with violet end note. The palate has good weight with perfectly balanced tannins. Flavours of liquorice, vanilla, plum and blackberry are overlaid with cedar and oak. Aftertaste of cedar, blackberry and spice.

Almost opaque black crimson colour with black purple hue. Perfumed nose with top notes of violet, spice and vanilla. Mouthfilling palate with excellent weight and depth. There is a sense of elegance in the structure whilst maintaining its classic McLaren Vale character. Flavours of blackberry followed by a hint of chocolate, vanilla and liquorice allsorts. Perfect balance. Long aftertaste of vanilla, spice and confectionary.
