2007 Browns of Padthaway T-Trellis Shiraz

Award winning winemakers David O'Leary and Nick Walker continue at large, this time producing a fantastic Shiraz on behalf of the family owned winery, Brown's of Padthaway. This wine was matured in a combination of American and French oak hogsheads for 22 months.

Opaque black crimson colour with crimson brick red hue. Lifted notes of dark plum, chocolate, liquorice allsorts and confectionary showing good perfumed lift. Rich, full bodied and thick, the palate displays flavours at the riper end of the spectrum – dark chocolate, liquorice allsorts, dark plum and mocha followed by some spicy back palate notes along with a touch of leather. Velvet tannin structure with a plush fleshy texture. Aftertaste of aniseed, dark chocolate and spice.
Drink now or cellar up to 3 years (2009-2012)
