2007 Water Wheel Shiraz

Very deep almost opaque black purple colour with black purple hue. Top note of ripe plum, ripe blackberry, spice and dark cherry followed by a hint of liquorice. The palate flavours are tight and it gives the impression that the vines were stretched due to the drought. Flavours of mocha and dark chocolate. Firmish slightly chalky tannin. Aftertaste of mocha, dark chocolate, liquorice and plum.
