2007 Wick's Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

The wine was matured for 12 months in a combination of seasoned (70%) and new (30%) French oak. Deep dark crimson red colour with crimson brick red hue. The nose displays leafy green herbaceous notes followed by some tobacco and a hint of blackcurrant. Medium to full bodied palate with flavours of tea leaf, tobacco and blackcurrant with a spicy back palate – the green characters being too dominant. Dryish tannins with moderate, slightly bitter, aftertaste of tobacco and blackcurrant.
