2008 Alamos Malbec

Produced from a blend of 90% Malbec, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Bonarda. Opaque purple black colour with deep purple mauve hue. The nose displays aromas of dark cherries, violets and spice showing good perfumed lift. Medium to full bodied with a ripe flavour profile of dark cherries, blackberry, spice and a touch of earthy cedar. Fine grained, slightly leathery but balanced tannins with aftertaste of dark cherries, blackberry, spicy cedar and earth.
Cellar 3-4 years (2013-2014).
