2008 Blue Pyrenees Midnight Cuvee Chardonnay Brut

This sparkling pours well displaying a white creamy mousse that shows good hold. This is followed by a pale straw base colour and very fine bead showing excellent persistence. The nose displays citrus top notes followed by some yeasty baked bread characters and light sherbet. Refined palate delivering delicate flavours of citrus, cashew and yeast lees. Clean crisp dry finish. Aftertaste of citrus and baked bread.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
