2008 Loose End Riesling

Barossa legend, Rob Gibson has launched a new collection of wines under the "Loose End" label, using premium quality South Australian fruit minus the premium price tags. They've been created to appeal to unpretentious wine drinkers, and simply invite you to be "at a loose end with no plans, just time to sit and savour these wines".

Bright pale straw colour with water like hue. Top note of lime and lemon followed by a light tropical fruit end note. The palate delivers flavours of orange blossom infusions, mandarin and lime. Excellent length and depth. Very long aftertaste of lime and orange rind. Crisp, but balanced acid finish.
