2008 Redbank The Long Paddock Merlot

Matured for 3 months in older American and French hogsheads. Deep dark crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. The nose displays lifted mulberry notes followed by some inky plum, cedar and spice characters. Light to medium weight palate with flavours of mulberry, smoky cedar and spice. Fine grained tannin structure with aftertaste of mulberry and smoky cedar.
