2008 Watershed Awakening Single Block A1 Chardonnay

An outstanding Chardonnay displaying exceptional palate length.
Bright pale straw colour with distinct greenish tinge and very pale straw hue. The nose displays lifted aromas of white peach, cashew, some funky wild ferment characters and biscuit followed by some spice and a hint of nougat showing good intensity. The palate is refned whilst also possessing great favour intensity and depth. Flavours of white peach, finty wild ferment characters, cashew, biscuit and nougat followed by some spice. Excellent complexity and concentration. Almost creamy like texture with very long aftertaste of white peach, biscuit, cashew and spice.
