2009 Basilio Izquierdo Acodo

A blend of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Garnacha. Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Lifted black cherry, black raspberry and liquorice aromas merge into some scorched earth, leather and spice notes. Rich ripe black cherry and juicy black raspberry fruit abounds over a back drop of liquorice, scorched earth, leather and spice. Slightly chewy tannins, concluding long with ripe black cherry, black raspberry, liquorice, scorched earth and spicy leather.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
