2009 Mount Langi Ghiran Cliff Edge Shiraz
Opaque black dark purple colour with deep dark red purple hue. The nose displays scents of dark plum and ripe blackberry followed by a touch of liquorice with some pepper and spice end notes. Matured for approximately 14 months in French oak of which 25% was new. Medium to full bodied the palate is filled with ripe dark plum and blackpepper flavours with some liquorice and blackpepper following on and the blackpepper making a re-appearance on the back palate. Very fine grained perfectly integrated tannins. Long liquorice, ripe dark plum and blackpepper aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
