‘An outstanding Central Otago Pinot possessing a level of richness and power that is so highly sought after in this varietal.’
Excellent depth with deep dark red colour and dark red hue. Perfumed aromas of ripe dark cherries, dark plum and anise waft from the glass followed by some spicy oak and light earth. Very rich and full bodied in Pinot Noir terms the palate boasts a magnificent power wave and concentration with an abundance of black ripe cherries and dark plum flavours dominate followed by some anise, subtle smoky cedar and a spicy back palate. Velvet smooth tannins with very long and persistent aftertaste of black cherry, dark plum, anise and spicy smoky cedar.
Cellar 4-5 years.
