2009 Voyager Estate Girt By Sea Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

A very flavoursome Margaret River blend that delivers fantastic value.
Produced from a blend of 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 8% Shiraz and 1% Malbec the wine was matured in a combination of new and seasoned French and American oak for 12 months. Opaque, deep, dark red dark purple colour with dark red hue. Aromas of ripe mulberry, tobacco, bay leaf and spice. The palate possesses excellent richness with mouthfilling flavours of ripe blackcurrant and dark plum, followed by some cedar and spice, with a bay leaf overtone. Excellent depth with very fine grained, almost velvet like, perfectly integrated tannins. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, dark plum and spicy cedar.
Cellar 3-4 years (2014-2015).
