2009 Warrabilla Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 10 months in a combination of new French and American oak. Saturated opaque black dark red colour with very deep dark red hue showing good cling. Impressive nose of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and dark plum with a cedar and spice overlay. Big concentrated palate flavours of ripe blackcurrant, liquorice, black plum, vanilla and spice. Fine grained perfectly integrated tannins without a trace of heat evident. Long aftertaste of ripe blackcurrant, spice, cedar and dark plum. Still relatively unevolved this wine will build further complexity with time in the bottle.
