2010 Argyle Forest Estate Rowbothams Track Heathcote Shiraz

Matured for 24 months in old French oak. Deep very dark red colour with tinges of black around the edges and a brick red hue. Lifted aromas of ripe dark cherries are mixed in with some earthy plum like aromas and a hint of chocolate bullets followed by leathery vanillin cedar and spice. Supple and round with low acidity the medium bodied palate has flavours of ripe dark cherries, liquorice, vanillin cedar, subtle new leather and spice. Soft velvety tannins. Aftertaste of liquorice, ripe dark cherries, spicy vanillin oak and touches of new leather.
