2010 Babich Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with light brick red hue. On the nose ripe dark cherry and plum aromas are to the fore with undertones of meaty game like characters and spicy cedar. Light in weight and soft in texture the palate delivers flavours of dark cherries, a touch of anise, some toasty oak and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with medium to long aftertaste of dark cherries, subtle anise and spicy toasted oak.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
