2010 Beresford Shiraz

Matured in a combination of French and American oak for a period of 12-14 months. Totally opaque black dark purple colour with dark purple black hue. The nose displays good intensity with ripe blackberry and dark chocolate top notes followed by a touch of liquorice, some toasty oak and spice. Full bodied, ripe and opulent the palate delivers voluptuously textured flavours of ripe dark blackberry, liquorice and dark plum with a toasty oak overlay and some spice on the back palate. Velvet smooth tannins work in conjunction with a round supple mouthfeel. Long ripe blackberry, dark plum, dark chocolate and spicy toasted oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
