2010 Chateau des Laurets

Superb midnight black colour with a deep dark crimson black hue. Nosing reveals perfumed scents of blackcurrants, violets and black cherries which overlay some cigar box and spice. Medium weight the palate possesses good richness, an elegant mouthfeel and perfectly integrated tannins. Flavours of balckcurrants and more subtle black cherries fill the palate followed by cedar, light tobacco, a touch of earth and spice. Dry finish with fine grained tannin structure. Medium to long blackcurrant, cedary tobacco, earth and spice aftertaste.
