Even at this entry-level age statement, a single cask of Longmorn is a relative rarity. Part of the Chivas portfolio and once readily procurable on the indie market where Gordon & Macphail has been the most prolific bottler of this special distillery - owing likely to the fact that they still own the original trademark for the label - official releases have been few and far between. With four pairs of onion-shaped stills producing a pure, complex and honeyed spirit with great texture, add a first-fill sherry butt and you may just have one of the better sub 12 year olds money can buy. Bottled in March 2022 at 55.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.
