2010 Oakridge Pinot Noir

Semi translucent crimson red colour with crimson mauve hue. Maturation took place in French oak, of which 15% was new, for a period of 10 months. Aromas of dark cherries, light toast, some meaty game like notes and spice. Light to medium weight but quite generous and showing good power, the palate exhibits flavours of dark cherry, dark strawberry, raspberry, some meaty cedar like qualities and spice. Very fine grained tannins with aftertaste of dark cherry, dark strawberry, raspberry and spice.
Drink over the next 3-4 years (2011-2015).
