2010 Spinifex La Maline Shiraz

Totally opaque black purple colour with deep dark purple red hue. The nose presents aromas of blackberry and liquorice with a smoky oak overlay followed by some spice notes. The palate possesses rich generous ripe blackberry flavours followed by some liquorice and spice with a subtle smoky meat like overlay. Velvet smooth tannins create a soft fleshy mouthfeel. Showing a degree of finesse for Barossa Shiraz the wine finishes with a long blackberry, liquorice, smoked meats and spice aftertaste.
