Totally opaque black as night heart with a dark red hue. Aromas of dark plum and liquorice mix with earthy tones, vanillin cedar, faint hints of leather and spice. Rich, plump and velvety the palate features generous dark plum, blackberry and liquorice flavours which sit over a back drop of old cedar, scorched earth, leather and spice. Silky tannins have a sturdy underbelly with a long spicy dark plum, liquorice, scorched earth, old cedar and subtle leather aftertaste.
