2010 Yalumba Steeple Vineyard Shiraz

Totally opaque inky black dark red colour with a deep very dark red hue. Nosing reveals scents of liquorice and blackberry intermeshed with dark plum, vanillin cedar, earth and spice. Velvety palate entrance with an elegant yet rich mouthfeel featuring supplely textured flavours of liquorice, blackberry and dark plum over some finely integrated vanillin cedar, subtle earth and spice. Silky smooth tannins with a medium to long conclusion of liquorice, dark plum, blackberry, earthy vanillin cedar and spice. A medium bodied, elegant, supplely textured Barossa Shiraz.
