2010 Yangarra Estate Vineyard Old Vine Grenache

Sourced from vines planted in 1946 this Grenache displays a deep dark red purple colour with purple crimson red hue. On the nose there are aromas of dark raspberry and dark plum followed by some liquorice and spice. Medium weight the palate is quite youthful and a little tight delivering inky dark raspberry, liquorice and spice flavours. Dry finish with fine grained tannins. Moderate aftertaste of inky dark raspberry, liquorice and spice.
Cellar 3-4 years (2015-2016).
