Distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2023 after twelve years of maturation in a first-fill bourbon barrel, Clynelish is known to produce a spirit with a lovely waxy character. Most of it goes into the world's popular blends. The 14-year-old official release is regularly available, but Clynelish hunters know the real excitement is found in the cask strength, single cask editions, especially when they're from Independents like Adelphi. Unfortunately, these gems rarely make it to market.
