2011 Carn Mor Strictly Limited Pulteney 9 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

Tasting note:  An all bourbon matured Pulteney that needs coaxing to excite beyond low-key aromas, slowly yielding dried peach and apple alongside budding waxiness. Soft and feminine with vanilla, candle wick and beeswax, then tangy and lively to finish. Something like a baby Clynelish, and less 'coastal' than usual for this distillery. Allow extended air contact to show it at its best.  47.5% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered. 678 bottles were produced.

Notes from the bottlers... fragrant honeysuckle on the nose, and a fresh coastal palate with vanilla and spice.
