2011 Daosa Blanc de Blancs

Pours well with a white frothy mousse that shows excellent hold. Pale straw base wine colour with an exceptionally fine and very persistent bead. Ripe pear and baked apple notes are to the fore followed by some sherbet and yeast lees. Pear and apple flavours again dominate the front palate over some toast, cashew and yeast lees characters which linger onto the aftertaste. The clean, dry crisp finish concludes with pear, apple, cashew, toast and yeast lees.
