2011 Escarpment Te Rehua Pinot Noir

Semi translucent dark red colour with light crimson red hue. The nose offers up perfumed scents of ripe dark cherries, plums and a touch of dark raspberry followed by some gamey cedar and spice. Mouthfilling flavours of ripe black cherries and dark plum flood the palate with some underlying toasty cedar, dried meat characters and spice. Long powerful finish with velvet smooth tannins. Long ripe black cherry, dark plum, toasty cedar and spice aftertaste.

Cellar 5-6 years.
