2011 South Star Highland 10 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml)

A South Star mystery bottling. By Highland standards, elegant and feminine. Subtle fragrances of dried grass, orchard fruits, vanilla and apple pie. The palate takes a slightly more cereal-oatmeal-porridge trajectory; it's nicely weighted too. The finish is crisp, brisk and delicately fruity. 2148 bottles available. 48% Alc./Vol. Non chill filtered.

Notes from the bottlers... Aromas of dried oranges and tobacco fill the nose, complemented by notes of dark chocolates, roast hazelnuts, walnuts and sticky toffee throughout the palate.
