2011 Voyager Estate Chardonnay

Barrel fermented and matured for 11 months in French oak of which 42% was new. Brilliant very pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Pronounced white peach aromas are followed by cashew, some funky flinty matchstick like characters, biscuit and faint citrus. Elegant and focussed the palate displays flavours of citrus and nectarine infused with flinty matchstick characters followed by light cashew and mineral. Clean dry finish with fresh acidity. Aftertaste of citrus, light cashew, flinty matchstick and mineral.
