2012 Bass Phillip Estate Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a slight tinge of green around the edges and a watery hue. The nose presents aromas of dried honey, lemon butter and bees wax followed by some cashew and light spice. Light in weight, very elegant and creamy in texture the palate features a flavour profile of dried honey, lemon butter and bees wax over a touch of cashew and spice with some fresh characters keeping things lively on the finish. Aftertaste of lemon butter, bees wax, faint cashew and citrusy honey characters.
