2012 Chandon Altius Upper Yarra Cuvee

Pours with a creamy white mousse that has good staying power and a pale straw golden edged base colour. Exceptionally fine and very profuse bead. Citrus, pear and subtle baked bread aromas merge with light toast and yeast lees characters. Fresh palate flavours of citrus and pears merge into some yeast lees with a light fluffy mid palate and crisp dry lemon sherbet finish. Aftertaste of pears, citrus, light toast and yeast lees.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
